Breaking Dawn Movie Will Be Two Films

Alright Twihards! It is finally official! The fourth and final book in Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling Twilight Saga, Breaking Dawn, WILL be two movies! Summit announced on Thursday that due to the length of the book (about 750 pages), they knew it would be difficult to fit all that vampy goodness into one 90 minute flick. The tricky part was that the stars of the mega-money franchise were only locked in for 4 films, so Summit had to cough up the big dough for renegotiations if they wanted Edward (Robert Pattinson…swoon!), Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Jacob (Taylor Lautner) to sign on for a fifth film.

The first of the two films will be released November 18, 2011. We aren’t sure about the fifth film yet, but we do know that they plan to film them back to back and that Bill Condon will be in the director’s chair for both of them.

The fourth and final book centers around Bella and Edward’s marriage, the honeymoon, Bella’s subsequent pregnancy and her finally fulfilling her desire to become transformed into a vampire.

Don’t wanna wait till 2011?? Neither do we! Check out The Twilight Saga: Eclipse in theaters on June 30th and check back pronto for more Twilight news!!

We couldn’t expect them to fit that much cheese into 1 film, now could we?
