CHOCK FULL OF STARRY GOODNESS…

Kristen Stewart Talks Twilight and Real Life Virgins…What About Rob?

At last night’s Eclipse premiere, E! asked a few of the stars about their thoughts on whether or not real life virgins can connect with the virginal angst in the first three films of the Saga.

“Oh my God, definitely,” Kristen Stewart, who plays Bella Swan in the series, said. “I feel like everything in our movie-the reason people love it so much-is because it’s everything that we experience. It’s like put on this…I don’t want to say idealogical…It’s just put on this level that it is fantasy love. You feel like when you’re ion love it’s fake almost. I feel like that’s how everyone feels.”

When asked, Robert Pattinson added that he has no clue if holding out for something great is in touch with teens today, but it is what he’s used to.

“I hope so,” the British hunk admitted when asked whether he thought teenage guys could relate to his characters (Edward Cullen, also our June Mougar of the Month) super self control.

“I don’t know, I didn’t really go to a normal high school,” he added. “I went to a very romantic high school.”

Ashley Greene, who plays Alice Cullen, and Kellan Lutz, who plays Emmett Cullen, in the hit films both agreed with Kristen about Stephenie Meyer’s mega fan base.

“I think it’s really nice that both Bella and Edward have found the complete package in each other and they are still willing to wait for each other.” Ashley said.

“You know, I think it’s coming back,” Kellan added. “I have a sister who is here, Brittany Lutz, and it’s really cool that she’s reading these books, and her friends are reading these books. The world has gone pretty corrupt.”

Kellan went on to say, “In reading these books, my sisters really stay true to themselves and their feelings and don’t just go off of lust, but love, and holding out. It’s really cool.”
