CHOCK FULL OF STARRY GOODNESS…

Aerosmith’s Joe Perry Hospitalized After Motorcycle Accident

According to authorities, Aerosmith’s guitarist, Joe Perry, was rear-ended by a car while riding his 2009 Ducati Monster 696 on early Thursday afternoon in Massachusetts.  Both vehicles were reportedly traveling at low speeds when the accident happened.

Perry, 59, who lives near Duxbury, was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment following the accident and was released a couple of hours later with mild injuries.

Middleborough police say that the driver of the car, Linda O’Brien, 62, was sited for following too closely.

The accident isn’t expected to delay any of Aerosmith’s tour dates.

Perry was recently in the headlines following his dispute with musical moug, Steven Tyler, Aerosmith’s lead singer. After Perry told the press last fall that Steven Tyler had quit Aerosmith, Perry reportedly was looking for a replacement for the band. Many fans of Tyler were very angry about this and blamed Perry for the entire incident, leading Celebstalk, and potentially millions of fans wondering, was Linda O’Brien trying to send Perry a message? Perhaps instead of asking her if she knew how fast she was going, they SHOULD have asked Linda was she Team Tyler or Team Perry?

We’re obviously kidding, the two music legends have since reunited for the sake of the fans and the music and are on tour now.

SO let us know what you think, Celebstalk? Even though its been said that there won’t be any delays, do you think Perry will be able to perform?

One response

  1. Steven Tyler as a judge. I would totally watch that. I think he has more to offer that one would initially assume.
