Mega-Mougar George Clooney will be receiving recognition, not for acting, but for something much more important at this year’s Emmys. George Clooney will be presented with the Bob Hope Humanitarian Award. It will be the first time in the past six years that the award has been given out at the Emmys.

So what did Mougar-extraordinaire George Clooney do to win this rarely given Emmy Award? Well CelebStalkers, for those of you who don’t know, George Clooney is a fierce advocate of human rights around the globe.

George Clooney has been active in trying to stop the genocide taking place in Darfur in Sudan for years.

George Clooney is a founding member of Not On Our Watch, along with other superstars with hearts of gold: Brad Pitt, Don Cheadle, Matt Damon, David Pressman, and Jerry Weintraub.
