Know Your Celebrity: Jackson Rathbone Edition
For week two of Celebstalk’s Know Your Celebrity Friday, we have picked a face that many of you may be familiar with: Jackson Rathbone.
Most of our Celebstalkers probably have at least heard of Jackson Rathbone in one way or another. As one of Tinseltown’s hottest up and coming stars, you are sure to see a whole lot more of him really soon.
Here are some of the things we’ll bet you already knew about Jackson:
1.) He has starred as Jasper Hale in the Twilight Saga movies (Twilight, New Moon and Eclipse), Edward Cullen’s gifted adopted brother who has the ability to control the emotions of the people around him.
2.) He also starred in the movie The Last Airbender as Sokka.
3.) Before his Twilight success, he had guest spots on popular teen shows such as The O.C.
4.)He is super freaking hot!
A few of the things that you may not know about the eccentric young star…
1.) Is musically inclined. In addition to his band, 100 Monkeys, he also plays the harmonica and the guitar. He enjoys bluesy types of music and also writes, sings and produces.
2.) Was born in Singapore and raised in Midland, Texas. Remember that sexy southern draw in Eclipse? That was the real deal, ladies. Everyone loves a guy with an accent and a southern gentleman is always sexy!
3.) He has a background in the theater. Just a few of his theatrical credits include leading roles in plays like “A Midsummers Night Dream”, “Macbeth”, “Grease”, “Jesus Christ Superstar”, “Les Misrables” and “The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe”.
4.) He enrolled at Interlochen Arts Academy as a high school theater major where he excelled at Shakespearean roles.
5.) Originally when Jackson auditioned for the movie Twilight, he went for the role of Edward Cullen and nearly won the role until the super sexy Robert Pattinson came in to audition. After Rob won the role, they offered the part of Jasper to Jackson.
So are you ready to see lots more of Jackson? We are too! Lucky for us, Jackson has a few new projects in the works. You can see him in the movie Girlfriend which is coming out sometime this year and he is also signed on for three more films, two of which are Twilight Saga’s Breaking Dawn 1 and 2, which are slated to release in 2011 and 2012, where he will return as Jasper Hale.

Could Chris Tucker Get Locked the F**k Up?
Chris Tucker, who has starred in roles on movies Friday, The Fifth Element and Rush Hour, is again having trouble with the IRS. With his back taxes adding up to over $11 million, the star has quite a hefty tab.
This isn’t the first time that Chris has had problems paying his taxes. Back in June, California filed a tax lien against him in the mind boggling amount of $3.5 million.
As of now, there has been no talks of the Tucker facing any jail time over the incident, and let’s face it, with the exception of Wesley Snipes, failure to pay taxes rarely lands a celeb in the slammer.
Other stars are apparently having some trouble paying their taxes, too. Comedian Sinbad reportedly owes over $8 million and the IRS has also put liens on Pamela Anderson in the amount of $1.7 million as well as $252,360 from the state of California.
In 2007, Marc Antony (crooner and hubby of Jennifer Lopez) agreed to pay $2.5 million in back taxes.
Most recently, Nicolas Cage reportedly owes $14 million and has blamed his financial advisor but promised to pay up.
While many stars do not handle their own taxes, we are not sure about Tucker. The star has yet to comment on the situation.

Mark Wahlberg Gets Star on Walk of Fame
Marky Mark is finally feelin’ Hollywood’s good vibrations! Today he will be receiving an honor that not every celebrity gets in their career, his own star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame, making him the 2,414th star to be honored.
In honor of this achievement, Celebstalk would like to take a walk down memory lane with you, because we all know that Mougy-Mark didn’t just wake up famous.
Born in 1971 in Boston, Mark’s first taste of fame came in the early 90’s when with the help of his big brother, Donnie Wahlberg (New Kids on the Block then, actor in movies like The Sixth Sense with Bruce Willis and Righteous Kill with Robert DeNiro and Al Pacino now), he got started as the lead member of the group Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch. Almost immediately, the hit single “Good Vibrations” went to the top of the charts and managed to stay up there just long enough to certify platinum.
His break out acting role came in 1997’s Boogie Nights, where he starred alongside original moug Burt Reynolds and a stellar cast as porn star Dirk Diggler. Mark also was the face (and the sexy ass!) of Calvin Klein when he appeared on billboards everywhere in nothing but his skivvy’s.
He has gone on to much bigger things, like Oscar winning roles in movies like The Departed (Leonardo DiCaprio). Other films he has starred in include Date Night (with Steve Carrell and Tina Fey), Three Kings, Invincible, The Italian Job (Charlize Theron), The Basketball Diaries, Fear (Opposite Reese Witherspoon), The Lovely Bones, The Perfect Storm(with mega-moug George Clooney) and the upcoming comedy, The Other Guys (with funnyman Will Ferrell).
In addition to that impressive resume, Mark is also the executive producer on Entourage as well as shows like In Treatment, How to Make It In America and Boardwalk Empire.
So, Mark, Celebstalk congratulates you on this stellar achievement! You’ve come a long way, buddy…Calvin should be proud.

Brittany Murphy’s Mother Disputes Mold Reports
Recent claims made by the coroner’s office in regard to the tragic deaths of Brittany Murphy last year and her husband, Simon Monjack, just six months later, state that toxic mold in their home may have been the cause of their deaths.
Sharon Murphy, Brittany’s mother, is disputing this stating that the reports made to and by the press were false.
“I have never been personally asked by the coroner or anyone from the Health Department to come and inspect my home for mold. In the last eight months, I have been through the most unimaginable events, which no one could ever fathom.” she says.
She went on to add, “I have and will continue to be very cooperative and fully comply with such request. It’s absurd that this kind of misinformation is being reported by the media.”
Recently, the spokesperson for Murphy’s family claimed that the home had already been inspected for mold last year.
The rep claims “Due to the inferior products used by the builder and sub contractors, the Murphy home had a persistent leak problem. Simon Monjack (hired) an attorney and filed a lawsuit against (them).”
“In October 2009, to ensure the home was safe to occupy, the attorney hired a well respected company to conduct a full inspection of the home which would include…checking for possible mold.”
According to reports, the official cause of the couples deaths was pneumonia and anemia.
Has George Clooney’s Girlfriend Been Part of a Shocking Drug Scandal? Not on HIS Watch!
According to a breaking report on radaronline.com Elisabetta Canalis “has just been implicated in a cocaine scandal that led to the arrest of five people.” It didn’t take long for this report to spread over the internet like wildfire. Some news outlets report that Elisabetta Canalis was involved in not just a coke scandal, but that it involved sex too! (Not Sex Too!!!) aaahhhh!!!!!!!
This of course prompted us here at CelebStalk to try to take a closer look at the facts as they are available now and see if our favorite man-cougar George Clooney has something to be worried about or whether it’s just a bunch of hyperbole baloney. Here we go…
The Source and Allegations:
The claims that George Clooney’s girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis has been implicated in a cocaine scandal originated from a story in an Italian newspaper, Corriere della Sera. The paper has based the allegations on the reported testimony of Karima a French model who lived in Milan and claims to have used cocaine with Elisabetta Canalis at a nightclub.
The Background:
According to radaronline and Corriere della Sera, an investigation into illicit activities at two popular Italian nightclubs began in 2008. Police suspected that prostitution and drug selling and use were being practiced at the clubs. The MO was apparently to give free cocaine to celebrity clients in order to gain their patronage and up the club’s status with the jet-set crowd. Seems like things at those clubs were pretty shady CelebStalkers! Shady enough to get them shut down as of two days ago.
So…was George Clooney’s girlfriend involved in a drug scandal??
The Verdict:
From the “evidence” all that can be said is that French model, drug-user, and possible prostitute Karima says so. Hardly enough to warrant all of the blaring headlines online today, eh?
There is no real proof that Elisabetta Canalis did cocaine at any of these shady Italian nightclubs, just like there’s no proof that she didn’t.
We’ve read all of these news articles and NOT ONE can actually even claim that Elisabetta Canalis did anything more than maybe or maybe not use cocaine while at a club.
We’re not advocating drug usage but we do want to point out the vast difference between what Karima really said and what many of these “news” sources are trying to make it sound like Elisabetta Canalis was involved in.
Insinuating that the Italian model and current girlfriend of George Clooney was in any way involved in selling sex or drugs is just irresponsible and stupid at this point.
Even if she did use cocaine in 2008 with French model Karima, it was before she began dating George Clooney.

Kristen Stewart Signs Up to Go ‘On the Road’
Twilight star Kristen Stewart has announced her next big project in the works. Jumping from one book based film to the other, Kristen will play the lead role of Marylou in the film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s On The Road.
The project has been in talks for years, but until recently, had always been put on Hollywood’s back burner for one reason or another.
In a recent interview where Kristen appeared on Live with Regis and Kelly to promote Eclipse, the third installment of The Twilight Saga in which she returns to costar with Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, she spoke about her newest project with the hosts.
“People have been trying to make that movie (On The Road) for thirty years,” she says. “I’m so excited; I can’t even tell you. It was my first favorite book. I found this paper that I wrote in eighth grade. Not very smart, but you can tell that I loved it. You can really tell that I really loved it.”
“And here you are making that film.” Regis Philbin said.
“I know; it’s insane.” Kristen agreed.
First published in 1957, On the Road is now considered a cult classic that has inspired the likes of Bob Dylan and the makers of films like Easy Rider and Thelma and Louise. The autobiographical story tells the tales of Kerouac’s travels across the United States and Mexico after World War II in his search for self enlightenment.
Other stars set to appear in the adaptation include Kirsten Dunst, Garrett Hedlund and Sam Riley.
Filming begins in August and we can anticipate a 2011 release.

Are Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Expecting?
Though it has been speculated upon in the past, recent reports made by US Weekly say that according to their source, newlyweds Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom may be expecting.
Of course the couples reps have not confirmed this, so who knows, but according to the source, who is supposedly close with Kerr, says “She’s definitely pregnant… Miranda’s thrilled.” The source went on to say, “She’s telling all her friends, mostly other models, about it. She poses in lingerie. It will be obvious soon enough.”
The couple dated for three years prior to announcing their engagement in June and then tying the knot in a super secret ceremony just weeks ago.
Bloom is most well known for his roles in Lord of the Rings and Disney’s Pirate’s of the Caribbean first three films alongside Johnny Depp. While he will not appear in the fourth installment of the POTC franchise, On Stranger Tides, he is signed on for the upcoming film, The Three Musketeers with Milla Jovovich.
Like we said, nothing has been confirmed about a new bundle of joy for the couple, but if it happens, Celebstalk will report it here first!

Is Gwyneth Paltrow “Country Strong”?
When you hear the name Gwyneth Paltrow, chances are you think of a few things, her amazing acting, her mother Blythe Danner, her husband, Chris Martin of Coldplay, her role as Pepper Potts on Iron Man 2, something along those lines, right? But you wouldn’t think “country singer” would top that list, would you?
Well, that old saying ‘you can’t judge a book by it’s cover’ rings true with Paltrow as the star not only signs on to play lead in country music film Country Strong alongside Time McGraw, but she has also opted to do all of her own singing. That’s right! As a matter of fact, the first single by Gwyneth will be hitting radio stations nationwide today.
Appropriately titled “Country Strong”, Paltrow’s voice will pleasantly surprise you in her music debut. She is able to pull off the entire song very convincingly and the buzz has already started with her fans.
Whether you love country music or not, you should definitely check out the song and see what all the hype is about. While we won’t say it’s a masterpiece, we will say that we are impressed with this hidden talent that the actress has kept under wraps for so long.
She did do a cover of the song “Cruisin'” with Huey Lewis back in 2000 for her role on Duets, so this little revelation may not shock everyone. No news yet of whether or not she plans to release more music or even if she will have more tracks on the Country Strong soundtrack.
The movie Country Strong features Paltrow as washed up country singer, Kelly Canter, who is trying desperately to make a comeback with the help of her husband/manager played by the very sexy country mougar, Tim McGraw.
The film is set to release on December 22 nationwide and you can look for the soundtrack in stores in October.

Rachelle LeFevre Lands Lead Character in New TV Role
Rachelle Lefevre, made famous for playing the role of vengeful vampire Victoria in the first two installments of The Twilight Saga (Twilight and New Moon) has landed a lead role in a new show.
Lefevre will play a “hippy doctor” named Eva on Shonda Rimes’ (creator of Grey’s Anatomy) newest medical drama, Off the Map. The new show will air on the ABC network beginning in 2011.
The show will also feature Caroline Dhavernas from the new Jennifer Aniston/Jason Bateman collaboration The Switch, Mamie Gummer (daughter of Meryl Streep) and Enrique Murciano (C.S.I. and Without a Trace). Sorry ladies! No McDreamy on this one!
This will not be Rachelle’s small screen debut. Before she hit it big in the Twilight films by tormenting Bella Swan (Kristen Stewart), Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson) and the rest of the Cullens, she had recurring roles on Boston Legal and Swingtown and has had guest spots on shows such as CSI and How I Met Your Mother.
You can also see Rachelle in her upcoming films, thriller The Caller, in which she costars with Stephen Moyer and Luiz Guzman, and the comedy Barney’s Version, in which she appears in an all star cast including Dustin Hoffman, Paul Giamatti and Minnie Driver.

Natalie Portman Visits the Dark Side in New Role
Natalie Portman, star of roles in movies such as The Other Boleyn Girl, The Star Wars Saga, and Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, has channeled her darker side for one of her newest roles.
Black Swan, which is set to release later on this year, follows Portman’s character, Nina, who plays a troubled ballerina who is given the opportunity to play the lead in a New York City production of Swan Lake. Pushed by her overbearing mother, played by Barbara Hershey, and her dance master, Korolyevna, played by Vincent Cassel, Nina struggles with the pressure of Korolyevna’s demands that she play her character more seductively.
Mila Kunis will also be featured in the film as Natalie’s rival and eventual friend.
“The character was very interesting to play, always challenging and surprising,” says Portman in a recent USA Today interview. “The fact that I spent so much time with the idea-Darren and I started discussing doing the film in 2000-allowed it to marinate a little before the shot.”
Darker roles where her characters have a troubled past are nothing new to Natalie. In one of her first roles, she won critical acclaim in the movie The Professional where she plays a young girl who finds a mentor in a professional assassin after the tragic murder of her parents. Since, she has portrayed an array of characters panning from the young bride of super villain Anakin Skywalker, AKA Darth Vader, a struggling composer and an abandoned teen mother in a Wal-Mart.
In addition to Black Swan, you can expect to see much more of Natalie in the future. She has more than ten projects in the works, including Thor, Snow and the Seven and Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, where she will play Elizabeth Bennet.

Bryce Dallas Howard Opens Up About Postpartum Depression
Bryce Dallas Howard, who starred in Twilight Saga: Eclipse as Edward Cullen’s nemesis, Victoria, has opened up for the first time ever about her struggle with severe postpartum depression following the birth of her son, Theo, in 2007.
“Before Theo was born, I had been in good humor about my 80-pound weight gain, but I was now mortified by it,” Howard explained on Gwyneth Paltrow’s blog. “I felt I was failing at breast feeding. My house was a mess. I believed I was a terrible dog owner. I was certain I was an awful actress.”
Bryce went on to add, “I definitely felt I was a rotten mother-not a bad one, a rotten one. Because the truth was, every time I looked at my son, I wanted to disappear.”
She kept her feelings and her sadness to herself, not even confiding in her husband, Seth Gabel, for awhile. She describes her outbursts towards him saying “I screamed expletives at him, behavior he had never experienced in the seven years we had been together.”
Luckily, Howard had the support she needed from her loved ones to seek professional help where she was diagnosed with severe postpartum depression. She read Down Came the Rain by Brooke Shields and describes it as “a revelation”.
Since then, the scarlet haired starlet is happier than ever and her son, Theo is now 3 1/2 years old.
Bryce describes a friends mention of her shift, writing, “He looked at me and without skipping a beat he said, “My friend is back.”

Zac Efron is Attacked by Swirly at Premiere of Charlie St. Cloud
With everything going on in the world today: financial crisis, war, poverty, etc., Celebstalk feels like we should really address the pressing matters at hand. You know, the stuff that really makes you look deep into your soul and change not just your life, but the lives of others around you. That’s why we found it so vital that we address what has become a crucial matter in the media: Zac Efron’s hair and WTF is going on with it?!
At the premiere of Efron’s new flick, Charlie St. Cloud, he donned this disaster of a hairdo. Why, Zac Efron? WHY?! Now, we know what you’re thinking. “It’s not so bad” right? WRONG! As alarmed as we were at the first sighting of what we can now only refer to as “the Efron Swirly”, nothing could have prepared us for this…
The Swirly Sideview. Doubly dangerous because not only does it terrify, it fascinates in the horrific way a train wreck would. The Swirly Sideview has the ability to not only scare the living hell out of you, but while doing so, it renders its victims helpless to oncoming danger. Like a rabid puppy, it’s peril knows no bounds.
So why would Zac get such a catastrophic coif? We don’t know Celebstalkers, but we can promise you that we have been tirelessly researching this holocaust of a haircut. So far, we have come up with three possibilities:
- A) He is channeling creative instincts through his hair:
Ace Ventura was a cult classic. Although Zac is young, he may be a huge Jim Carrey fan and wanted to use his hair for inspiration in his work.
Notice how the swirly sideview in this image renders the poor little monkey helpless from escape.
Oh, he wants to leave…but the swirly commands him to stay…
Everyone remembers how successful the 90’s movie There’s Something About Mary was. Another unforgettable scene from the now classic comedy was the infamous “hair gel” scene. Cameron had no idea then about the power of the swirl.
Maybe Zac was trying to use a subliminal message to get us to spend our money at the theaters so he could get a hefty payday?
Or maybe, he was just nervous…You know…
Edward Cullen, AKA The Perfect Man and Celebstalk’s June Mougar of the Month, played by Robert Pattinson.
We constantly are hearing comparison’s between the two stars even though we don’t really agree with the resemblance, but maybe Zac figured since they are always being compared, why not bask in the glory?
Maybe he is up for a part against RPattz and thinks the swirl will help him?
Maybe he wants to play Renesmee in Breaking Dawn? Whatever it is, we know that the swirly is nothing to play around with and that it takes the strength of a bloodthirsty vampire to tame it. Proceed with caution, young Efron.
B) Maybe he is homesick? Maybe he longs for the days when life was simpler, before all the High School Musical hoopla changed him. Maybe he is channeling the younger, more innocent Zac Efron?
Maybe this picture of this swirly-esque doggie ‘do reminded him of one of his childhood pets?
Maybe he figured since he couldn’t spend time with his furry friend, he would channel his love in a way that would keep them together?
We’re not sure, but we do know this: this dog does not look happy, Zac Efron…proceed with caution!
The Kewpie doll. Aww! We can see it now…little Zac Efron playing in his bedroom with his beloved Kewpie doll, eyes full of imagination and wonder.
Maybe he wanted to be taken back to that day, before he had to answer to “the man”.
We understand Zac, but you don’t sell yourself to the devil to get out of payin’ the rent.
We beg of you…back away from the Kewpie, Efron!
C) Maybe he was just really hungry. The pressures of Hollywood are no joke, Celebstalkers. If you want to get that next big role, you have to look good, or else it’s back to the drawing board.
Mmmm! Ice cream! We bet it’s been awhile since old Zacky was able to indulge in a nice cold treat like this!
Maybe he was getting ready for the premiere and with the heat and the constant pain of hunger, he wanted a nice frosty treat to make him feel better?
Maybe he talked to his manager and told him of this insatiable craving, only to be knocked down again?
Maybe this haircut is a way to get revenge on the people who denied him such delectable treats?
Well, Zac Efron, you’ll get your revenge alright, but the swirly will take out all the innocent bystanders around you in the process! Ask yourself this: is it worth it?
Wow! That lollipop sure looks tasty! We bet Zac Efron was thinking the same thing when he saw it.
But was he again denied this sweet treat in order to maintain that girly figure of his?
Or maybe he did indeed indulge in this forbidden confection and at the last minute, the limo pulled up to the premiere and he was forced to hide it?
But where could he hide it? Maybe…just maybe…in his hair? And the swirly was born.
Whatever the reason for this calamity, fear not Celebstalkers! We are here for you and promise that we will not rest until the mind-boggling mystery of the Swirly and it’s intentions are made clear.

5) Sam Worthington is incredibly humble about his good looks. In interviews he has referred to himself as a Boxhead and said he felt sorry for the poor ladies who had to rub tanning lotion all over him while he wore only a paper thong to prepare him for his role in Clash of the Titans.
So what’s Sam Worthington up to these days? When not pedaling his bike around LA, Sam Worthington has been making mucho movies! Sam will be appearing in Last Night (2010) with Keira Knightly and Eva Mendes, and The Fields and This Means War coming out in 2011.

Brad Pitt Involved in Epic Zombie Film World War Z
Fans of the intelligent and frighteningly realistic socio-political zombie novel “World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie Wars” by Max Brooks will be psyched to learn that the popular novel is finally being made into a feature film! Talk of the World War Z movie has been going on for several years now, with some fans beginning to believe that it would never get made.
In 2007 word came out that Brad Pitt’s production company Plan B was in a bidding war with another company to gain rights to the film. But nothing more was officially said.
But Zombie movie lovers everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief because Max Brooks has now at last confirmed to MTV that the film is on and that none other than mega-star Brad Pitt is attached to it! Although Brad Pitt is obviously attached through his production company, rumors are already swirling that he will also star in the film. Could we be so lucky?
The film will be directed by Marc Forester and may be set to release in the summer of 2012. It’s about damn time!

Love Blooms: Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom Get Married!
Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr were married in a super sneaky ceremony! The news of the wedding of the Victoria’s Secret model and Pirates of the Caribbean star has been confirmed by both of their reps according to USMagazine and multiple news outlets.
The couple who have been together for three years announced their engagement earlier this summer and the recent news that Miranda Kerr would make a special announcement had many wondering if the sexy model would announce that she was pregnant.
So when did ultra-private couple Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom tie the knot? Nobody knows for sure yet. All that we know is that they had an intimate ceremony and that they are now happily honeymooning as newlyweds. We wish Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom the best and hope they get some peace and quiet during this special time in their lives together!
Halle Berry Back in ‘Anonymous’ Role
Halle Berry has announced her next role will be in the film “Shoe Addicts Anonymous” which is based on Beth Harbison’s novel of the same name. The film will follow four women from Chicago of different ethnic backgrounds who have just two simple things in common: they are all shoe addicts and all the same shoe size.
After they form a support group, they swap shoes and become close friends.
This will be the first film for Berry since she finished production on Frankie and Alice with costar Stellan Skarsgard last year which still is waiting for a release date.
Other projects in the works for Halle include a broadway play titled The Mountaintop written by Katori Hall where she will portray a hotel maid who delivers a meal to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. the night before his assassination.

World’s Hottest Zombie Hunter Milla Jovovich is Back in New Movie Resident Evil Afterlife!
Speaking of Female Action Heroes…
Everyone’s favorite Zombie Hunter is coming back in 3D in 2010 to kick even more zombie ass!
Milla Jovovich, the sexy Serbian who starred in the previous three Resident Evil movies is reprising her role as Alice in the new film Resident Evil: Afterlife. The film will also star Ali Larter (Claire Redfield), Wentworth Miller (Chris Redfeild), Sienna Guillory (Jill Valentine) and Shawn Roberts as Albert Wesker, chairman of Umbrella.
Those of you who saw Resident Evil: Extinction know that the film gave serious hints towards the development of a sequel in which Alice’s ability to destroy the undead may grow exponentially! We’re so excited that this sequel has been made and is finally coming out.
Resident Evil Afterlife will be hitting theaters on September 10, 2010!

Who will play Kurt Cobain in the Nirvana biopic? Part Three!
CelebStalk has already posted more than once on the Kurt Cobain biopic film and just who might be cast as grunge rocker Kurt Cobain and his wife Courtney Love.
The film is still in the earliest stages and has already caused quite a bit of controversy. Cobain’s widow Courtney Love has shown her distaste for the idea of casting Robert Pattinson, apparently because she can’t separate the real Robert Pattinson in her mind from his role as Edward Cullen in the Twilight Saga. She infamously called the idea “stupid” and “wrong” prompting Robert Pattinson to call her a “dick” in reponse which we think is AWESOME!
Maybe Love is just pissed because her attempt to pimp daughter Francess Bean out to Pattinson after the release of the first Twilight film elicited no response from the brooding Brit? Hhmmmm…
Regardless, the names now most commonly heard in association with the roles of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love are Ryan Gosling (F*&K yeah! Ryan Gosling!) and Scarlett Johansson.
Since Courtney Love has been so vocal about casting conjectures in the past, what does she think about Ryan Gosling as Kurt and Scarlett Johansson as herself? Apparently she’s all for both!
We think that Ryan Gosling would make a great Cobain. But come on Courtney? Scarjo? Yeah, she’d be awesome because she’s got loads of talent….but um….let’s just say even after all that plastic surgery Love has had…

Jennifer Aniston Launches New Perfume in London
The always lovely Jennifer Aniston recently launched her new perfume in London.
The debut scent was originally named Lolavie, which in French translates to “laughing at life”, however at the last minute, Jen worried it would sound much too close to the popular Marc Jacobs scent, Lola, so she changed it to something that would be much more memorable…Jennifer Aniston.
In the past, celebrities have often names their perfumes and colognes after songs or books, but Jen opted to use her own name. Why?
“At such a late hour, I didn’t want to postpone the launch so the only thing we could really clear (in terms of rights to perfume titles) was my name,” Jen told Reuters at the London event.
The actress arrived at the event in London in a Valentino sheath and looked beautiful as ever.
When she was asked about the inspiration for the perfume, Jen explained to the crowd at Herrod’s that it had taken her two years to find the perfect combination of aromas.
“I brought in a hair serum, a candle, a lotion, a sort of combination of all these things. It’s a combination of my favorite scents — the ocean, sea air, blooming jasmine and tropical oils. It’s my memories of California nights in the summer.”
Regardless of the name, the scent sounds like another home run for Aniston.
The new scent is being sold exclusively at Herrod’s and can be found on their website now!

Sara Gilbert Hosting New Mommy-Friendly Talk Show
Remember Sara Gilbert? She played the perpetually angst ridden Darlene Connor on the show Roseanne and since then, she has kept herself super busy with guest spots on popular shows such as Grey’s Anatomy, The Big Bang Theory (with former Roseanne onscreen love interest, Johnny Galecki), ER and Hawthorne.
Well, as soon as the long lived soap opera, As the World Turns, comes to a close, Sara will take the CBS time slot by hosting a daytime talk show which will look at current events through the eyes of mothers.
The show will also feature panelists such as Holly Robinson-Peete (21 Jump Street), Leah Remini (King of Queens), Julie Chen (Big Brother) and Sharon Osbourne (America’s Got Talent, wife of Ozzy Osbourne).
The show is set to launch sometime around October and will be compared to the likes of The View. Sara, now 35, is the proud mommy of two children with her partner, Allison Adler.

Brad and Angie Win Tabloid Settlement
Hollywood mega-couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, were awarded an undisclosed amount of cash Thursday after suing a British tabloid who claimed the couple were splitting up.
In January, The News of the World reported that the couple had planned to separate and that they had already come to an agreed custody situation with their six children and planned to divide the assets that the newspaper estimated the couple had made.
The couple fought back and said that the claims were false and demanded a retraction of the story as well as an apology.
Solicitor Keith Schilling told the High Court in London that he accepted the fact that the reports were “false and intrusive” and agreed to publish an apology.
The paper will also pay the couples costs and damages, which they of course plan to donate to the Jolie-Pitt Foundation.

What Did Robert Pattinson Really Say About Kristen Stewart and Her Big Mouth?
Well CelebStalkers there is no denying the fact that the internet has been abuzz over the past 24 hours with news headlines claiming that Robert Pattinson has said that Kristen Stewart makes him uncomfortable with her big mouth.
But just how true is this much-circulated story? On closer investigation it’s apparent that once again the press is just twisting the truth of what was said in order to stir the “Robsten Are They or Aren’t They” pot.
SO what was really said by Robert Pattinson that has made everyone think he is dissing Kstew and therefore contemplating breaking up with her?
MTV.co.uk is reporting that Rob told Turkey’s OK! Magazine quote: “Kristen is always really good but also clearly speaks her mind. That can be a bit uncomfortable…after we shoot a scene she sometimes looks at the director and says, “Let’s do that again.’ If I did that she would probably kill me! She would probably say something like, ‘Shut up! The scene was perfect!’”.
WOW! First of all we have to take all of this with a big fat grain of salt cause umm…OK! Magazine is the primary source and yeah….
Second, it’s apparent that even if these words did come from the luscious lips of Robert Pattinson, they are hardly derogatory. It seems more than anything he is commending his maybe girlfriend but definitely close friend for being strong-minded and not being afraid to share her opinions on the job!
It would seem that Robert Pattinson gets uncomfortable because he hasn’t yet gotten used to his own stardom and may not be comfortable sharing his own feelings and insights on set.
Robert Pattinson obviously admires Kristen Stewart as a professional as he’s made many statements to that affect.
So once again it seems this is a case of the media trying to stir the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart pot.
Nuff said.
Christina Applegate is Pregnant!
Christina Applegate and her fiance Martyn Denoble are expecting their first child. Christina’s rep confirmed the wonderful news with People.
The couple dated for two years before getting engaged on Valentine’s Day. They have not yet announced a date for their big day.
Christina says that Martyn, a Dutch bass player, helped her recover after undergoing a double mastectomy and adds “I’m very grateful to Martyn for coming along at a time that he did because he’s been my rock through all of this…He gave me something to really want to live for and something to smile about.”
Christina Applegate rose to fame playing Kelly Bundy for ten seasons on Married with Children and has since been in a ton of movies such as Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Employee of the Month and has guest starred on Friends, as well as star in Samantha, Who?.
